For the urine sample can I use
it if it is mixed with snow?
The test performs well even if there is a bit of snow
mixed in - however it cannot be guaranteed as it is
impossible to say how much snow is too much. |
Do you get many
false positives?
We do not get many false positives. On very rare
occasions a false negative reading can occur or an
unreadable test can occur. Causes can usually be
attributed to prematurely performing the test or not
following the test instructions.

It states they need to be
refrigerated so how is the best way to ship them?
The tests have consistently performed well being
shipped via regular mail - even in the winter months.

Do they work on donkeys?
The tests work well on member so f the equine family.

Would
your test still work if the mare had urinated during the
night in her stall (no bedding) and I collect it in the
morning?
The test would very likely work, but cannot be
guaranteed. It would be best to wait for a fresh
sample. |
How do you get the urine onto the
test?
The test comes with full instructions. Urine is
transferred using a pipette supplied in the kit. |

How
many months along does the mare have to be?
Depending on which test you purchase. The WeeFoal
38 performs between day 38 and day 120 - it does not give
credible results after day 120. The WeeFoal 120
performs from day 120 through to term.

What is the shelf life on them?
Every Test is has an expiry date. Depending on which
batch you purchase - if you do not plan to use the test in
the near future include that information in your order so
that we know whenter we should send you a stock test or
wait for the next batch to arrive.
Having said that, the tests do perform well past their
expiry date.
